I am the only one who seems to think Xtina’s redo of “Beautiful” for her Target-only greatest hits last year was a nod to GLaDOS in Portal. I don’t care what you people say, I know I’m right.

I remember when I first got this album, visiting my parents and going to pick up my then-girlfriend, now-wife at the airport so she could meet the folks for the first time, and being excited and a little nervous and just rocking out with this song blasting out of the windows of the rental car.

The conundrum I face with the Internet is that someone is bound to show me something I've already seen months ago.
Some people are chill enough to say “seen it” and for that to be okay. These are guys who like Prince and Muhammad Ali. Their king is Anil Dash. But if you have to ask whether you’re one of those people, you aren’t. If you assume you’re one of those people, you aren’t. But if you’d honestly never thought anyone was any different, then maybe you’re one of those people.
